In 2007 HERSHEY PARK introduced and opened the first phase of water attractions to the area of the park referred to as Midway. A great deal of thought and consideration during the planning and development was the equipment needed to provide clean filtered water for our guests. Only two years later in 2009 and 2018 phase two and three were developed to increase the footprint for our guests to cool off with the additional attractions. Total water volume throughout the WATER PARK to be filtered and treated is approximately 1.5 million gallons. To date we have 6 different models of the FILTREX REGENERATIVE D.E. FILTERS housed in four mechanical rooms throughout the area for a combined total of 12. Filtrex's design of the "all stainless-steel model filters" was in consideration not only of the environment by protecting natural resources and lessening the carbon footprint but producing a highly effective design with the proper media capable of filtering down to 1 micron. The regenerative filters also require minimal electricity, reduces the cost of chemicals needed to provide pristine balanced water by not having to backwash thousands of gallons of water the older High-Rate Sand filters required.

The filters require very little maintenance and 'hands on' operating time. Have been extremely reliable and can be switched from auto to manual mode in a matter of minutes. Our maintenance team does our own winter or off-season cleaning and overhaul with support from the Filtrex engineers and technicians team. The support is second to none and Filtrex team members are available 24/7 when needed.

Jones Beach State Park

Here at Jones Beach State Park, we have been using the Filtrex Regenerative Filtration System since 2013 with outstanding reliability and performance! We use this system on both our pools at the West BathHouse complex and the water is always pristine looking. At any given time if I need to call a technician for any issues or questions, I always get a call back to assist us. The overall customer service department is always quick to place my orders for parts and filter media or any ther part one might need and very pleasant to work with.

Filtrex installed the pool filters at the University of Toledo Student Recreation Center in 1990. Over the past 30+ years Filtrex has been a true partner. Waukegan Parks

We had our state-of-the-art indoor aquatic facility outfitted with two Filtrex filter systems in 2016. We were so pleased with the performance of the filters that we chose Filtrex again on our next aquatic project- a massive 40,000-gallon splash pad that opened in May 2021. They have been very low maintenance and a pleasure to have at both our indoor and our outdoor aquatic facilities.
