In 2007, Hershey Park introduced its first water attractions in the Midway area, with careful planning to ensure clean, filtered water for guests. By 2009 and 2018, phases two and three expanded the water park, which now filters and treats 1.5 million gallons. The park uses 12 Filtrex regenerative D.E. filters in four mechanical rooms. These stainless-steel filters are environmentally friendly, use minimal electricity, and filter down to 1 micron, reducing chemical costs. The low-maintenance filters can switch between auto and manual modes, with winter cleaning handled in-house and 24/7 support from Filtrex.

Here at Jones Beach State Park, we have been using the Filtrex Regenerative Filtration System since 2013 with outstanding reliability and performance! We use this system on both our pools at the West BathHouse complex and the water is always pristine looking. At any given time if I need to call a technician for any issues or questions, I always get a call back to assist us. The overall customer service department is always quick to place my orders for parts and filter media or any ther part one might need and very pleasant to work with.
